Happiness is…a Great Visit in Washington, D.C.

Bookstore

I had a great time in Washington, D.C. I’ve lived in DC for several years, at various points, so driving around the city gave me the chance to catch sight of many places that were important to me at different times.

It was even more thrilling to see so many people at the Borders at Friendship Heights (Booeymongers!) last night — plus I got to see friends from college, my college roommate’s mother, a former boss, a family friend, friends from law school, a blogland friend…the day had a slightly “This Is Your Life” quality. In a good way.

Today, Chicago!

* If you live in DC and would like a signed copy of The Happiness Project, I signed books at the Borders at 5333 Wisconsin, at 600 14th Street NW, and at 1801 K Street NW, and at the Barnes & Noble at 3040 M Street NW. If you’re wondering why I didn’t go to your favorite bookstore, I went to these stores because they had lots of copies I could sign!
