Poll: Are You Keeping Your New Year’s Resolutions?

It’s now mid-February – which means that about 80% of New Year’s resolutions have been abandoned. I started keeping my Resolutions Chart as a way to do a better job of sticking to my resolutions. I’ve made resolutions my whole life, but until the chart gave me a way to hold myself accountable, I didn’t do a very good job of keeping them.

How have you done with your New Year’s resolution? I’ll be very interested to see the answers to this poll. If you’re making good progress at keeping a resolution, please do comment to share your strategies! We can all use pointers!

* I can’t remember how I found my way to the blog Sweet Eventide, but I love cruising around it. Most of all, I appreciate the blog’s tag line, “Spend your favorite time of day in a delightful way, like I try to do at eventide.” A wonderful resolution! — and “eventide” is a beautiful word that doesn’t get enough exercise in daily speech.

* Interested in starting your own happiness project? If you’d like to take a look at my personal Resolutions Chart, for inspiration, just email me at gretchenrubin1 [at] gmail [.com] — and don’t forget the “1″. (Sorry about writing it in that roundabout way; I’m trying to thwart spammers.) Just write “Resolutions Chart” in the subject line.
